Frequently Asked Questions about the eBook

Where is the eBook available?
The iBooks version is available through iTunes in the US, UK, EU, Canada and Australia.  The  Kindle Edition is available in all countries through Amazon.com. The Google Play version is available in all countries through Google Play. The VitalSource version is available in the US, UK, and Australia through VitalSource Bookshelf. Please contact us if you are having trouble purchasing the eBook.

What is the difference between the iBooks and Kindle Edition versions?
The Kindle Edition is designed to be read on Kindle devices and through Kindle reading apps.  If you like to increase the type (font size) to be larger when you are reading or if you are planning reading from a phone, this version may be for you.

The iBooks version is designed to be read on your iPad, iPhone, or Mac, and is more interactive.  It includes bonus features, such as pop-up reference links, flashcards and a visual table of contents for navigating the monuments in the book.   Learn more about the Roman Architecture eBook features.

I don’t have an eReader.  How can I read the book on my personal computer or phone?

OS X Mavericks brings iBooks to the Mac.  All the iBooks enhancements can be viewed from your desktop with this latest software update.  If you have an Apple computer, be sure that you have the latest version of the operating software.  The iBooks app will then be available from your desktop.
